The Scriptures |
| II Timothy 3:16 |
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is
profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for
instruction in righteousness. |
| II Peter 1:21 |
For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of
man: but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost. |

| The
Lord Jesus Christ |
| John 1:1-3 |
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with
God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with
God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any
thing made that was made. |
| Hebrews 1:8 |
But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God,
is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of
thy kingdom. |
| Isaiah 7:14 |
Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign;
Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his
name Immanuel. |
| Matthew 1:16 |
And Jacob begat Joseph the husband of Mary, of whom
was born Jesus, who is called Christ. |
| Luke 1:31 |
And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and
bring forth a son, and shalt call his name Jesus. |

The True God |
| I John 5:7 |
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the
Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one. |
| Matthew 3:16-17 |
And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway
out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he
saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon
him: And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved
Son, in whom I am well pleased. |
| II Corinthians 13:14 |
The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of
God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all, Amen. |

The Holy Spirit |
| John 16:8-11 |
And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin,
and of righteousness, and of judgment: of sin, because they believe
not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye
see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world
is judged. |
| II Corinthians 3:6 |
Who also hath made us able ministers of the new
testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter
killeth, but the spirit giveth life. |
| I Corinthians 2:12-14 |
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but
the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are
freely given to us of God. Which things also we speak, not in
the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost
teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the
natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they
are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are
spiritually discerned. |
| Romans 8:9 |
But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so
be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have
not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. |
| Ephesians 1:13-14 |
In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard
the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after
that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the
purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory. |

The Resurrection of Christ |
| Matthew 28:1-10 |
In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward
the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to
see the sepulchre. And, behold, there was a great earthquake:
for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled
back the stone from the door, and sat upon it. His countenance
was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow: And for
fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men. And
the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not ye: for I know
that ye seek Jesus, which was crucified. He is not here: for
he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord
lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen
from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there
shall ye see him: lo, I have told you. And they departed
quickly from the sepulchre with fear and great joy; and did run to
bring his disciples word. And as they went to tell his
disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they
came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him. Then said
Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go
into Galilee, and there shall they see me. |
| I Corinthians 15:20 |
But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the
first fruits of them that slept. |
| I John 2:1 |
My little children, these things write I unto you,
that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with
the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: |
| Hebrews 7:25 |
Wherefore he is able also to save them to the
uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make
intercession for them. |

Sin and the Total
Depravity |
| Romans 3:22-23 |
Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of
Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is
no difference: For all have sinned, and come short of the
glory of God; |
| Romans 5:12 |
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world,
and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all
have sinned: |
| Genesis 1:26-27 |
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our
likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and
over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the
earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the
earth. So God created man in his own image, in the
image of God created he him; male and female created he them. |
| Ephesians 2:1-3 |
And you hath he quickened, who were dead in
trespasses and sin; Wherein in time past ye walked according
to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of
the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of
disobedience: Among whom also we all had our conversation in
times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the
flesh and of the mind; and were by nature the children of wrath,
even as others. |
| Ephesians 2:12 |
That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens
from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of
promise, having no hope, and without God in the world: |
| John 1:12 |
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. |
| John 3:3-7 |
Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I
say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom
of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when
he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and
be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee,
Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter
into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is
flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel
not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again. |

Salvation |
| Ephesians 2:8-10 |
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not
of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any
man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in
Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we
should walk in them. |
| John 1:12 |
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to
become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his
name: |
| Ephesians 1:7 |
In whom we have redemption through his blood, the
forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace; |
| I Peter 1:18-19 |
Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with
corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation
received by tradition from your fathers; But with the precious
blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot: |

| Baptism
and Lord's Supper |
| Matthew 28:19 |
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them
in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: |
| Acts 2:23-24 |
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and
foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have
crucified and slain: Whom God hath raised up, having loosed
the pains of dath: because it was not possible that he should be
holden of it. |
| Romans 6:4 |
Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into
death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory
of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. |
| I Corinthians 11:23-37 |
For I have received of the Lord that which also I
delivered unto you, That the Lord Jesus the same night in which he
was betrayed took bread: And when he had given thanks, he
brake it, and said, Take, eat: this is my body, which is broken for
you: this do in remembrance of me. After the same manner also
he took the cup, when he had supped, saying, This cup is the new
testament in my blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in
remembrance of me. For as often as ye eat this bread, and
drink this cup, ye do shew the Lord's death till he come.
Wherefore whosoever shall eat this bread, and drink this cup of the
Lord, unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and blood of the
Lord. But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of
that bread, and drink of that cup. For he that eateth and
drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not
discerning the Lord's body. For this cause many are weak and
sickly among you, and many sleep. For if we would judge
ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are judged, we
are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the
world. Wherefore, my brethren, when ye come together to eat,
tarry one for another. And if any man hunger, let him eat at
home; that ye come not together unto condemnation. And the
rest will I set in order when I come. |

The Return of Christ |
| I Thessalonians 4:13-18 |
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren,
concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others
which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose
again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with
him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we
which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not
prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall
descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel,
and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise
first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up
together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and
so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one
another with these words. |
| Zechariah 14:4-11 |
And his feet shall
stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before
Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the
midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall
be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward
the north, and half of it toward the south. And ye shall flee
to the valley of the mountains; for the valley of the mountains
shall reach unto Azal: yea, ye shall flee, like as ye fled from
before the earthquake in the days of Uzziah king of Judah: and the
Lord my God shall come, and all the saints with thee. And it
shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall nto be clear,
nor dark: But it shall be ond day which shall be known to the
Lord, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening
time it shall be light. And it shall be in that day, that
living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the
former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in
winter shall it be. And the Lord shall be king over all the
earth: in that day shall there be one Lord, and his name one.
All the land shall be turned as a plain from Geba to Rimmon south of
Jerusalem: and it shall be lifted up, and inhabited in her place,
from Benjamin's gate unto the place of the first gate, unto the
corner gate, and from the tower of Hananeel unto the king's
winepresses. And men shall dwell in it, and there shall be no
more utter destruction; but Jerusalem shall be safely inhabited. |
| Revelation 19:11-16 |
And I saw heaven
opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was
called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and
make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head
were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but
he himself. And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood:
and his name is called The Word of God. And the armies which
were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine
linen, white and clean. And out of his mouth goeth a sharp
sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule
them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the
fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And he hath on his
vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF
LORDS. |
| Revelation 20:1-6 |
And I saw an angel
come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a
great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that
old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand
years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up,
and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more,
till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must
be loosed a little season. And I saw thrones, and they sat
upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of
them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word
of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image,
neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their
hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand
years. But the rest of the dead lived not again until the
thousand years were finished. This is the first
resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the
first resurrection: on such the second death hat no power, but they
shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a
thousand years. |
| I Thessalonians 1:10 |
And to wait for his
Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, even Jesus, which
delivered us from the wrath to come. |
| I Thessalonians 5:9 |
For God hath not
appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus
Christ. |
| Revelation 3:10 |
Because thou hast
kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of
temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that
dwell upon the earth. |

Satan |
| Job 1:6-7 |
Now there was a day
when sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and
Satan came also among them. And the Lord said unto Satan,
Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said,
From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in
it. |
| Isaiah 14:12-17 |
How art thou fallen
from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut
down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou
hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my
throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above
the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet
thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee,
saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did
shake kingdoms; That made the world as a wilderness, and
destroyed the cities thereof; that opened not the house of his
prisoners? |
| Matthew 4:2-11 |
And when he had
fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.
And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of
God, command that these stones be made bread. But he answered
and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. Then the
devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a
pinnacle of the temple, And saith unto him, If thou be the Son
of God, cast thyself down: for it is written He shall give his
angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear
thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.
Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt
the Lord thy God. Again, the devil taketh him up into an
exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the
world, and the glory of them; And saith unto him, All these
things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship
me. Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it
is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt
thou serve. Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels
came and ministered unto him. |
| Revelation 20:10 |
And the devil that
deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and
night for ever and ever. |

Security of the Believers |
| John 10:28-29 |
And I give unto them
eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man
pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is
greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my
Father's hand. |
| Philippians 1:6 |
Being confident of
this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will
perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. |
| I John 5:11-13 |
And this is the
record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in
his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not
the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto
you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know
that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of
the Son of god. |

Eternal State |
| II Corinthians 5:1 |
For we know that if
our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a
building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens. |
| II Timothy 1:12 |
For the which cause
I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: for I
know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep
that which I have committed unto him against that day. |
| Revelation 20:11-15 |
And I saw a great
white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and
the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books
were opened: and another book was opened, which ids the book of
life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were
written in the books, according to their works. And the sea
gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up
the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man
according to their works. And death and hell were cast into
the lake of fire. This is the second death. And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into
the lake of fire. |
