"Those that be planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.  Psalm 92:13

Dear Friends in Christ,

We praise God for friends that were gracious in sending special offerings which allowed us to take David to special-needs camp.  David is nine years old, weighs 75 lbs, and requires adult supervision 24/7.  He cannot tell you his name, much less, his address.  Please keep Karen in your prayers as she is the primary care-giver.  David has chronic ear infections.  Recently, he underwent surgery for a fourth set of tubes.

Mary is in the 8th grade and continues with violin lessons.  She is involved in Awanas and in sports with other home-schooled girls.

Please pray for us.  A prayer-card with a recent family picture is enclosed.

Conference

A conference is scheduled for the second week of January, 2006 with the Maya Indians in Telchaquillo, Yucatan, with native pastor Francisco Pat Coba.  Please pray for many souls to be saved at that time.

Brother Coba's house was damaged by a hurricane two years ago and he is now building a two-room house.  A special offering covered the cost of the roof, but windows and doors are still needed.

Annual Board Meeting

Our Board of Directors is to meet Friday, November 4, 2005 at 1:00 PM at Canaan Baptist Church Covington, Georgia.  Pastor Scott Caudill and the members have again offered to host the meeting.  The address is 5581 Salem road, telephone number (770)786-8885.

Felipe Urquieta's Church Building

Laboring in Leon, Guanajuato planting Iglesia Bautista Ebenezer, Brother Felipe sends us the good news of the roof put on the building.  The members prayed, gave sacrificially, and worked hard to lay the foundation and put up the walls.  Now they can worship the Lord without sitting in the sun, or, in the rain during the rainy season.  In answer to prayer, a supporter of Spanish Baptist Missions gave money to buy the materials for the roof.

One of Brother Felipe's great concerns for the area is to purchase two adjacent properties to build a home for children roaming the streets.  These children need to be won to the Lord and then they can become instruments in God's hands to win others.

An heir of God through Christ,

Joel Silos, D.D.
