"I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.  Philippians 4:13

Dear Friends in Christ,

Karen and I deeply appreciate your prayers in our behalf.  This month we want to share with you some of God's blessings.

For the past six years, the Lord has supplied one to one and a half million gospel tracts every year.  Last year, we received two and a half million.  The boxes of 10,000 tracts weigh 40 lbs each.  By His grace, all of them have been transported into Mexico.

Last November 2005, we were especially blessed to receive 7,000 Spanish Bibles.  They are packed 32 to a box and each box weighs 33.5 pounds.  Half of the Bibles have already been delivered to the native missionaries and to churches and mission organizations in Mexico.  We are grateful to a church in Tampa, Florida, which helped with the purchase of a trailer to use in towing the boxes.

The 1996 truck in which we travel has over 200,000 miles on it.  Needless to say, all the towing took a toll on the transmission, and it broke down before we could deliver the rest of the bibles.

Normally, I do the mechanical work for economical reasons, but that takes weeks to do.  This time I had the work done at a Ford Repair Center.  The service manager said I was fortunate in that I had gotten over 100,000 miles more than the norm out of the transmission.  I thought, "If he only knew the condition of the roads I have driven in order to deliver some of the literature, he would think it incredible".  Rejoice with me that our Lord is also Lord of the mechanical!

Please pray that the Lord will supply to cover the expense of having the transmission fixed.  In the past year, the truck hauled 18,000 lbs of literature which included the tracts and bibles, and also New Testaments, hymn books, and "Life of Christ" videos.  Besides the literature, we delivered humanitarian aid, such as, vitamins, dental hygiene products, shoes, clothes, and blankets that either the missionaries or the Bible School students needed and/or requested.  The efforts made for His cause are worth it all!

Pray with us for the annual camp meeting April 10 to 15, 2006 in Leon, Guanajuato.  About fifteen churches attend.

Please pray with us also about David's summer camp for special-needs children and their families.  Each year the family benefits as much as David does, spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

An heir of God through Christ,

Joel Silos, D.D.
